All quiet at the top front
Musharraf lovers have not given up yet. Unlike in the past it is they who are now keen to create dissension at the top. A lot has been read in to the army chief’s remarks on the border situation and the possible difference of opinion between the country’s top leaders. With due respect sirs, no matter whatever you do the past cannot be brought back. Pervez Musharaf is history and let us move forward than going back.
On the border issue the Prime Minister, the President and the Army Chief have shown that they form an excellent team. And as far as my sources tell me the entire process was well coordinated. If the army chief made a statement it was because the western military leaders were asking for a response. The democratic government managed diplomacy well. So let us hope that the system functions smoothly and pray please don’t try to create confrontations.
